About Titan Skin Tightening
Titan Laser uses infrared light to heat the deep dermis, while Thermage RF delivers monopolar radiofrequency energy to the same layer. Both stimulate collagen remodeling for measurable, gradual skin tightening.

Titan Skin Tightening
Titan is recognized for effective collagen stimulation. It utilizes infrared laser light to heat the water within the dermis to the point of collagen contraction. The collagen fibres not only tighten immediately, but are reinforced over time which means the improvement usually continues for 3 to 6 months after your skin treatment.
This skin tightening treatment works on the principle of Volumetric bulk dermal heating (Elevating skin tissue temperature stimulates local circulation, in turn, stimulating collagen growth or skin tightening). Titan is a non-invasive skin tightening treatment that leaves the skin intact.

What is Titan skin tightening and how does it work?
Titan by Cutera is a non-invasive treatment that uses infrared light energy (1100–1800 nm) to heat the deep dermal layer of the skin. This heating instantly contracts existing collagen fibers and triggers your body’s natural healing process to produce new collagen over the following months.
Which areas of the body can be treated?
Titan is safe for all skin types and tones, including tanned skin. It is most frequently used on the face, jawline, submental area (under the chin), and neck. It can also tighten loose or crepey skin on the abdomen, upper arms, thighs, and knees.
How many sessions are needed, and how often?
Most people need 1 to 3 sessions spaced 3 to 6 weeks apart for optimal results. Mild skin laxity may respond well after just one treatment, while more significant sagging may require a full series.
Does the treatment hurt?
Titan treatments are comfortable and generally pain-free. You will feel a brief heating sensation with each light pulse, immediately accompanied by a cooling burst. Built-in continuous contact cooling protects the outer layer of skin (epidermis) throughout the procedure.
What is the downtime and expected recovery?
There is zero downtime. You can return to work and your daily routine right after your appointment. You might experience slight temporary redness or minor swelling, but this typically resolves within a few hours.
When will I see results and how long do they last?
Immediate: Some initial contraction of collagen may give a subtle firming effect right away. Full Results: Peak visible tightening occurs gradually between 3 to 6 months as your body builds new collagen. Longevity: Results typically last 1 to 2 years. Single maintenance treatments every 12 months are recommended to preserve collagen levels against normal aging.
