How Does Picosure Work?
Picosure tattoo removal works by delivering ultra-short pulses of specialized energy to the targeted ink particles. These ultra-short pulses are known as PressureWave technology. They cause pressure changes that break the ink into tiny particles, which are then absorbed into your lymphatic system and expelled naturally by your own body’s immune system.
Picosure is different than most other traditional laser methods of tattoo removal in that instead of using just heat to break down the ink particles it uses a combination of heat and rapid pressure changes. Thus, being more effective at removing the toughest of inks. Picosure can also be used safely on all skin types and can be used to treat a range of tattoo colors. Patients often report shorter recovery periods between sessions as well as the need for fewer sessions to rid yourself of unwanted tattoo ink.

What Should I Expect After Treatment?
Post treatment clients can experience mild bruising for 1-3 days. Some patients experience a tingling sensation similar to a sun burn, itching in treated area.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments varies from person to person depending on size of tattoo, lifestyle habits, characteristics of the ink and the location on the body. Most people report needing 6-9 sessions spread 6-8 weeks apart to remove the tattoo ink.
